Ha, that would be awesome if they weren't so rawr! You know, I was watching a weird thing at work where this kid was doing balloon animals, and I couldn't help think how being scared of them takes the fun out! I want a balloon animal! And I can look at it from a FAR distance. :D

Yayz! I'm glad that you wouldn't do that to me! :D

Gotta <3 The Nanny! I used to love watching it as a kid and was so happy to find the first season on DvD! :D
God, that guy bugged me. I was a Jessie fan, and kind of got pissed that she shunned him off for that other guy later on when he came to see her. >.< I loved Paris in the later Season's. She bugged the hell out of me in the beginning. I don't know who would have really been my favorite. I'd probably have to go with...Suki! Lain in the later seasons as well. :D
    I <3 Marry Cherry!

I'm a huge Gabby fan. Xena of course, but Gabby before Xena. :D

You weren't allowed to watch Xena?! My mother used to sit down and watch Xena, Buffy, Charmed and whatever else I watched with me. o.o I used to sneak watching QaF and The L Word when I wasn't out to my parents...but I think they heard it because my room wasn't an actual room. I made half of the basement in the PMQ's my room so my room walls were blankets. >.< >.>

I've actually had my Dead Like Me season forever and I don't think I've fully watched it. Which I need to. Amazing show though. :D

It's physically being near them and in constant fear that they are going to pop. I don't know how I developed the fear though. When I hear a balloon pop I go right white and skittish. It's weird, I know. image

i once filled most of my bedroom with SO MANY balloons for a friend of her birthday.
we used a helium tank xD good fun!! though I might have taken a year of my life sucking that all in!
They were in there for over a week. and as the helium lost it's zing they would get closer and closer to the ground.

And you'd wake up with one hovering just above face... o.O that was creepy!
or they were on you while you were sleeping and never went away after I threw them away.
:D I was glad when they were all dried up and popped!

though it made for a good birthday.... I promise never to do that to you!

    I think it's very cute :P

I know! It peeved me off! If they are going to end a show, they should do it right...even if it's canceled! >.< >.> I usually don't follow shows either. Not until they are over. The only 3 shows I ever followed for longer then a week >.> was Buffy, Charmed, and The L Word. Oh, that would suck! I hate when they split seasons. I don't see the true point behind doing it. >.< Either wait till you can release both...or...well wait until you can release both...together.

I buy seasons like I buy movies. Well, sort of. Because of the price it's a little harder. I have my eyes set of the complete set of Little House on the Prairie at walmart but it's just over $200. >.< It's very hard to resist! Actually today I ended up buying two movies(and a computer game), the other day one(and Snoopy, and the Grinch PJ pants...I have a weird thing for loving to buy PJ pants >.<), and the other week I bought 5. >.<

Oh god, I could never work at HMV. The money they gave me would go RIGHT back to them. >.>

    Oh a nice collection :D

    I own...
All of Xena(of course!), all of Gilmore Girls(which is oddly my dads favorite show. I just got the seasons back from them), all of F.R.I.E.N.D.S(I <3 the dots >.>), all of Charmed, all of Will and Grace, all of Queer as Folk, Firefly, 1-4 of Buffy, 1-4 of The L Word, 1 and 2 of Tru Calling, S1 of Futurama, S1 of Family Guy, S1 of Robot Chicken, all of Reba but the last season, S1 of Gargoyles(was a favorite cartoon growing up), all of Roswell, S1 Terminator, S1 Dead Like Me, S1 The Nanny, S1 Darma and Greg, all of The OC, All of Dawson's Creek, and S1 of Hannah Montana(guilty pleasure >.>)

Honestly, I only took French 3 years of my life. Grade 1, 2, and 7(which I oddly got a 98% in...and I didn't know a THING I was saying or being said...I think the teacher just favored me >.<). From 8-12 I had the option of not taking any language course...so I didn't. Though...I know I should have. >.< Every time I say to people that I was born in Quebec their first words are 'do you know French?!' and I always feel dumb saying no. >.<
Awz. Drama wasn't an option at my school. It was after I graduated that they decided they were going to have it.

Yeah. I very much appreciate it. Though, she's pretty grown for her age, but she's going through a lot of crap at the moment(well has been since she was 10) so I guess it's helped her mature...nicer?
Aw, that sucks that your sister doesn't share those movies with you. But, it's understandable.
I'm out to...pretty much everyone. I choose not to come out at work though...ever. I don't need to make anyone uncomfortable(and I know there are people who would be), and I don't want to feel...weird working around them. Besides, they don't have to know. My friends know.
I remember when I came out to my mom, she was taking me to work so she was surprised dropping me off. Then, when she picked me up the first words out of her mouth was 'who have you dated?! who do you like?! Do you have a girlfriend! is Ashley(best friend at the time...and still is even though she's over in Ontario) gay!?' I was like o.o whoa slow down!

Hm...dislikes...dislikes...I dislike balloons! Actually that would be my main phobia. >.> Weird, I know. Ha...I don't know. :O

i knew i was missing something when i was listing those shows off! Season one of the Nanny got that one!! ROLF!
yes yes I like your collection of shows! I was a big Gilmore Girls Fan for a long time! Up until there was something going on with some Hunter character... I dunno. My fav was Paris I loved her Episodes. :D
I always like the bitches in shows.
Nick and MArry Cherry FTW!! Hated Carmen!!! with solid PASSION!

That's what makes Xena cool! cause she was bad ass and good !! WOHOO MY FAV!!

I used to watch Queer as Folk when I was younger... which doesn't make sense to me cause I was banned from watching Xena but not QaF? I guess I was a bit older then but huh?
and I would If I could own all of Dead Like Me. Though I've barely seen the show I love the heck out of it!!

I also want It's Always Sunny in Phili and Arrested Development.

Can we talk about the Balloon thing? You liked UP right?
is it the balloon that scares you or the fear of it popping and that ol sound?

*grabs your guilty pleasure and puts it in my dislike list, right next to the olives*

The good movies come from the oddest stores to get movies. Like I bought DEBS at Extra Foods, and it's an awesome movie. I <3 Jordana Brewster! Actually, DEBS is probably my 13 year old sister's favorite movie of all time. I remember watching it with her when she was like...11 and I don't know why but I felt weird because she was so young and I wasn't exactly open with her about my sexuality or anything. She's an extremely open child though. For that, I love her. :) I find it funny that some of her favorite movies/shows are like my lesbian based ones. She LOVES South of Nowhere(which I'm itching to buy the seasons), she loves RENT which has the whole variety, and I'm sure if The L Word wasn't so...well not age appropriate for her, she'd love that to. Which, I need to buy the last two seasons. >.< I've been lacking in season buying! :(

I need to buy Popular! I was disappointed that it was canceled. Though, ALL the good shows get canceled. Tru Calling, a show I was like in love with canceled in the middle of the second season, and on a holiday episode no less! >.<

So, are you big on shows, and buying shows as much as movies?

does it just kill you that they left popular on such a cliff hanger?!??!?!
i remember watching the season two finale and then talking about it ALL summer with my sister.
only to find out it was POOCHED!
that may have been the last time I watched a show week to week.
Now I like to get them when they are over, and I rent/buy/borrow them and watch them at my own pace
(as fast as I humanly can) I did that with BSG. I waited till it was over to start watching.
and then I got to the last season watched the first half and then I had to wait months till the other half came out on dvds! my master plan foiled!
I never did end up watching it :(

I don't buy seasons that often.... not that I wouldn't! It's just that I am so so so broke.
When I do have money to spare it goes to sorting through the cheap bin at walmart.
$6.88 hahaha but you know that!
Is it hard to resist working there??!

OMX I used to work at HMV. Last year as a seasonal worker.
and I was working in order to be able pay mine and my sisters rent, to get home for the holidays and then maybe be able to buy some presents. it was my second job and every second of it was pure pure sweet torture!
I'm quite proud of the little I bought while working there. You get the best deals on more expensive stuff working there so everyone always bought series.
I own Popular, some Seinfeld, some sex in the city, what is available of Jem and the Holograms, ALL XENA! (the only thing i've bought for myself in AGES) Kyle xy, CSI:CSI most of it... but that show went down hill. D: that might be it.
cept for this mr.bean dvd i have! so not much!

I wish German was an option at my high school. Taking French got lame... They were offering SPanish one time and I signed up for it for easy credits but they pulled it. :(
    Back to French.
BUt you know how French can substitute Math marks for college. That saved me.
Cause I failed math 30 almost TWICE!
though i will always be mad that I have to chose french over drama. Drama class was my favourite in tenth.

    MEEP o well......

I'm glad your sister is cool with that stuff. She sounds awesome for her age. They don't make awesome 13 year olds anymore. My sister is pretty great about me and my ways xD. She is one of the few people I'm out to. My parents know, and my mom is the greatest woman on this earth. My dad doesn't say much but he's alright.
Only sad part is that my sister doesn't like my movies. She'll watch and love Ellen with me but that's about it.

You know we have yet to discuss the dislikes *coughericbanacough*

    Sure! :P
I can't help but <3 'Pumpkin'. I came in discovery of it used, and on VHS at the Canex on the base I lived at. I want to get it on DVD. I actually want to switch all my movies to DVD eventually. Slowly doing so. :D
    I <3 Christina Ricci!
Gah, I <3 Popular! The show was for sale(for like 20 bucks) at Walmart and I sadly at the time couldn't even afford it. :( My ex introduced me to the show, and I fell in love with it. I used to watch it on Family though...or YTV. Family I think...late.

I was excited when I saw Carly in 'IBTC'.

Loving Annabelle has to be one of my favorite movies of all time. You should really see it! I own it on DVD as well as Itty Bitty Titty Committee.

My mom introduced me to First Wives Club. I remember watching it when I was younger and thinking it was such a weirdddd movie...but at the same I loved it. Now I just <3 it. :D

Ha! I can't help but love 'Up'. I have Doug(the stuffed toy came with the movie) sitting on my pillow. He's my little buddy! >.>

Oh, they are very hard to find. I go to a certain site to keep updated on Lesbian films. Except it's a very...raunchy site because it gives stills and it likes those of the nude. >.<

    I don't have many...those I do own are...
DEBS, Itty Bitty Titty Committee, But I'm a Cheerleader(I can't help but LOVE this movie), Loving Annabelle, Saving Face(I usually can't stand movies with Subs but since it's half English it's all good...and it's very good movie), I Can't Think Straight, and I have a few more but...I can't for the life of me remember them.

I used to be able to speak a fair bit of German, because I choose that for my language class over French...but I can't for the life of me remember any of it...besides the numbers and a few here and there words. I was over the for 4 years. So from grade 3 till end of grade 6. I miss the school. One of the main courses there was swimming...always a fun class. :D

Ha! I'm glad I did as well! Hm, how old was I? I think I was like...8. I've watched all the episodes at least 5 times. <3

It has a fairly nice cast in it to. Well, not 'good', but some of them are pretty well known...depending on who you are. >.> >.<
I actually haven't. I've been fooled by a few though.
Damn. I'm getting there again. I'm starting to collect more movies after 6 months of having next to no money. >.< Haha. I just bought 'Up' the other day. Cute movie. :)
I've tried so hard making lists of the movies, but then...I just kind of stop and then it wont even be close to what I have.
I don't think I would have been such a movies fanatic if I hadn't moved to Germany. My dad used to buy me movies ALL the time, because we only had like...2 or 3 English channels on TV(Cartoon Network, some British Channel(it was good because it introduced me to Xena, and Charmed), and MTV[Which was most of the time German, but the songs were English! >.>]). Of course all those movies were VHS, so I barley watch THOSE anymore. Though, when I moved back to Canada I remember the first movie I bought. MVP: Most Valuable Primate. >.< Then from there I just couldn't stop buying them. ANYWAY....

God, I wouldn't even begin to pick out the best movies... I have to agree that Eternal Sunshine is a great movies, and First Wives Club.

I remember in 10th-12th grade, I had this amazing English teacher(I was lucky to get her all three years) and movie studies with her was amazing. After doing them with her, it really made me look at movies different to, but probably not in the same way as you. In grade 10 we studied Edward Scissorhands(one of my top favorite movies), and it was just awesome.

What kind of movies I watch...hm...
Well, for the kind I like really anything by horror(seriously can't watch horror unless I have someone there so they can be my cuddle type person. The last time I watched a horror(YEARS ago) I was liked hiding my face in my friends body LOTS, I'm surprised she didn't swat me away in annoyance. >.>)...

Lets see some of my all time favorites...
Pumpkin(it's a weird one, which is probably why I like it)
The Quiet(another weird one, which is probably why I like it plus, I <3 Elisha Cuthbert)
Happy Feet(I can't help but love this movie!)
    Cars(as you can see I <3 Cartoons)
Edward Scissorhands(this has been a favorite since I was a little one)
The Notebook(Yes...I know it's on a lot of peoples favorites but I can't help but have it on my favorite list)
    Itty Bitty Titty Committee
    Loving Annabelle
    Saving Face
I Can't Think Straight(The last four are of course less heard of because they are Lesbian films)
Fried Green Tomatoes (Been a favorite of mine since I was young)

I love a hell of a lot more movies then that, that I like/love. I just can't think of them off the top of my head. :)

You never watched Buffy? :O You're missing out! Kidding. You're probably not. Haha. I actually haven't watched that show since I was in...maybe 9th or 10th grade. I know I stopped watching it around the last season. >.<

:D and i do enjoy my Christina Ricci fix!
hmm... The guy who plays Pumpkin is in one of my favourite TV shows called Popular.
it was on the WB when I was little and it got canceled :(

&!! Carly POPE! is in that show and she's in the Itty Bitty Titty Committee!
A movie that I love every much too!
and I've never seen Loving Annabelle but I really really want to!!

JOY that you approve about my First Wives Club!
it's the movie i seen most in my life. I've loved it since it came out and will love it forever.
I also introduce it to all my friends and the obsession has spread!

i'm watching UP again NOW! LOL!

i havent seen as much Lesbian films as i want to. They're hard to find. :(

can you speak German? how long where you there?
I'm very happy that you discovered Xena... i wouldn't have an alberta buddy without you here xDhow old were you when you started watching Xena. I only have a year under my belt and have only watched some epis once D:

Ha! Omg, I could so see that to! I get the whole 'I'mma lose my self somewhere!' from my mom. She almost went to New York trying to go to NB with my little sister! >.< Though, I'd have to admit, going to New York would have been a plus. >.> It all depends if I can get the money, but I doubt it. Most of my money is gone within the first day of my pay. >.< I'm sadly only working part time, fighting for full time. Which isn't bad considering I'm getting by off a part time job. >.>

Oh, that's awesome with you meeting her! I've yet to meet anyone I've known online, though the thought has crossed my mind once or twice. >.< I think that's gonna be so cool for you. :)

Ha, it's awesome! I watched the Season's years before he got the chance, and when I watched it with him, I loved seeing his reaction. He cried a lot, and I got slapped a lot. I should see if I get his Boyfriend to watch the seasons. >.>

I'm probably in the middle age wise for my cousins. I have a bunch of older cousins, and a bunch of REALLY young cousins. All my older cousins are either married with kids, or just have kids. I only have a 13 year old sister, and I HOPE she wont be pregnant anytime soon. >.< Her friend(who's just turned 14) and soon to have a baby. >.< Growing up isn't as fun as you'd think it was! Sometimes I wish time would rewind, but there are...perks to 'growing up' to. >.< Ha, I'm without a girlfriend to. Which, my mother is riding me about it. She's all 'get out there, meet a girl!'. Gotta love moms. >.<

I don't think I've bought a movie I didn't like. Oh...that's a lie. I bought this movie called Perfume and only for the fact that Michelle Williams was in it(and not a whole lot). How many movies would you say you have? I only(to me only...others might be like o.o) have around 400-ish. I'd hate to split my movies with someone! Hell, when I moved out of my parents place, I stole a bunch of their movies. They don't watch movies twice anyway. >.>

God, I used to be like that with Rap as well. I can stand a few rap songs now, but not many. I'd have to say my favorite genre is Trance.

Ha! That would be awesome. A good pocket watch is hard to come by these days. :P

    Yeppers, I do.

Keep in mind that I was a HUGE buffy fan way back when I made this...and I still <3 buffy...but still. :P

I've been fooled by lots of movies... hahaha.
Before the break up with my sister when had 500 movies.
So my number is at 250 even atm. lol my sister and I wrote a list of all our movies
and we kept them alphabetical. Without her around the movies have gone a muck.
:( and I lost some essentials. SO sad!!!!!

ok... I have issues deciding what are the best movies are but here are some of the cream of the crop in my books:
Lost In Translation || Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind || First Wives Club || Life Aquatic || A Love Song for Bobby Long.

    I COULD GO ON!!
but I'll leave it at nice round number :P

I like most movies too... but I've started to learn about making movies and stuff so now I'm better at like telling the quality of movies. It's kinda interesting to re-watch movies after I know some stuff.

I want to know what kind of movies you watch.

Aw, really? I'd LOVE a vacation right about now. I would love to hit the convention, but I don't think it's a possibility for me this year, and I've never been to one either. Though, I have my mind set on going one of these years. I wanted to go to this one so bad. I don't really have the money, and it's something I'd have to do with someone. Like, if I went I'd have to get my roommate to go with me, which he would. He's Joxer fan. By Joxer fan, I mean when he watched the show for the first time, and saw his fake, and real death...I got slapped silly. Poor boy was in tears. Though, you can't help but love the lovable Joxer. :) It's just not something I could just do alone. I also hate going on planes...and I doubt I could do it alone. I'd probably end up in China. >.>

I know. It's pretty sad how much flights cost. I mean, especially like you said, in country flights. Heck, even going from Calgary to Edmonton is an unreasonable price. >.< Not that I've tried. >.> It is fun going back. The memories I do have of there I <3. Always had fun with my cousins. :D Now...they are all pretty much parents.

Ha, you took my likes! :P

Well, I'm with you on that. Gotta love Xena! I actually have my season set sitting beside me, and I've been debating if I want to start watching it again, or do it later. >.< I am also very much a subber! :D
I'm addicted to movies. I can't go in an electronic section without leaving with a movies, and that's if I'm lucky. I usually leave with around...3-5. If I have spare cash, that's where it goes. Well, to that and comfy PJ bottoms. >.>
I used to be a Nintendo kid. I had the original Nintendo, the Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, and I plan on getting the Wii. My favorite of the above was the super nintendo. Except, my dads 'friend' ended up stealing it, because he was dumb enough to lend out MY console. Haha. But, he ended up buying he the 64 to make it up to me. :D Which was my 2nd favorite. I was addicted to Zelda: Ocarina of time, and Mario 64. I also loved(even if it was a little cheesy, and kind of a knock off of Mortal Kombat) the Xena game I had. I had that forever, but my little sister ended up breaking it. Though, I am huge fan of the Xbox now. I can't help but <3 it! >.> Not so big with the Playstation, but I used to have a PS2...before my dad accidentally dropped it on the floor. >.<
I <3 a lot of music. The only thing I wont listen to is country and...well screamo. Blah.

Aw, that kind of sucks that you're not. I'd hate to go to college and have a roommate that was just...tolerated. I live with my long time friend. I've known him since I was 3. Except, we both moved around, but ended up meeting up again in Wainwright.

    Ha, I was a little long winded...hope ya don't mind! :D

    HAHA!!
I just had this image of you playing the female lead in the home alone remakes. Home Alone 5: Xenite lost China!
Hmm... If you went I'd be going! i'm like 100% sure that I'm going but also 50% sure it's sadly not going to happen. If I do get to go Con I won't be going alone. I'm going to met my best friend in the world just a few days before con! We met on XOC and she's from Singapore. AND SHE'S COMING TO MEET ME!!!!! :D So even if I don't get to go to the con seeing her is MORE then Enough!

I would love to live with a Xenite! You lucky GAL! Must be nonstop Marathons over in Leth! lol!
My cousins are all younger then me. But still the last time I saw them they we tiny kids and now they are teenagers... bleh!
It's my brother and my sister that are becoming parents and stuff! My brother is married and has a boy how's almost two! it freaks me out cause I'm only three years younger then my bro! and My sister is on the verge of getting hitched I feel it! and she's only 1.5 years older then me!! Growing up is looming over my shoulder and I don't even have a girlfriend!
*cuddles N64 and kicks adulthood away*

I LOVE your likes! When I was younger I used to do the exact same thing with movies. It got to a point were I was buying movies I had never seen and then never watch them forever and then finding out that they sucked! though I did find some gems that way too! My movie collection is half the size it used to be. I started it with my sister. Last year we were living together in Red Deer. But eventually her BF moved in and i went back to the Hat. So we chopped the collection in half. It was a sad sad day!

MUSIC! you have almost the ame rule as me!! GROSS COUNTRY (so glad you are a sane Albertan) Screamo is RANK! I don't really like the whole rap scene. OMX if you had asked me like 8 years ago I would have said RAP is LIFE! (so embarrassing) I was obsessed with everyone in Murder Inc. you know Ashanti Ja Rule and the rest of them! *shoots 12 year old me* I think it's that shame that makes me really dislike rap now! Favourite Band on this planet and beyond is Stars *crosses fingers hoping you've heard of them* if not, would you mind if I educate you?

I'm going to get odd and say I've always wanted a pocket watch and a top hat!
*writes that down on my Dear Santa letter for the 20th time*

    do you have msn?
